Our Africa tours will have you falling in love with all the iconic sights, from the giant Victoria Falls to the beautiful mountains and coastline of South Africa, on an experience that will change you forever.
Take to the skies in the aerial cableway to the icon of Cape Town, Table Mountain. The cars have glass windows and rotating floors so you’ll have spectacular 360-degree views of the City Bowl and Atlantic Ocean all the way to the top. If you can tear your eyes away from the views once we reach the famously flat peak, keep a lookout for the colourful Cape fynbos and the furry rock hyrax - an adorable must see in Africa.
Dreaming of seeing the famous Big 5 wildlife in Kenya? There’s nothing quite like the thrill of tracking elusive Rhino and leopards, watching bathing elephants, or seeing a pride of lions clash with a herd of buffalo - and we’ll give it not one, but three attempts. Our Kenya safaris take you from Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park to the Masai Mara, all famed for being home to the Big 5 and even more incredible wildlife.
You’ve never seen a waterfall quite like this before. The Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall on earth and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and it does not disappoint. Once you get up close, you’ll feel the spray and hear the roar of the water as it thunders into the gorge below and you’ll quickly understand why the locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya - 'The Smoke that Thunders'. Definitely one for the Africa bucket list.
You’ll get to tailor your ultimate Africa tour with our range of Choice Experiences. Choose from adventures like exploring Kenya’s soda lake Elementaita, marvelling at sandstone cliffs in South Africa, and spotting the marine Big 5 in Namibia.

We found a peaceful slice of nature at Lake Elementaita, a UNESCO-listed soda lake that's around 12 million years old and looks as gorgeous as ever. It’s protected shores are filled with all kinds of magical bird species and we picked a quiet spot and sat back to try and spot flamingos, pelicans, storks and the African spoonbill. Bliss!

Knysna stands out on South Africa's famed Garden Route thanks to the sandstone cliffs that dramatically separate its tranquil lagoon from the pounding surf of the Indian Ocean. It's also home to the country's largest indigenous forest. Hop aboard a ferry for a ride through the scenic highlights. The Millwood Mines at Jubilee Creek provide a picturesque spot for a picnic. Be sure to try some local oysters!

There are endless things to do in Swakopmund like strolling the buzzing promenade, quad-biking in the dunes, or even taking a scenic flight over the rocky coast and rolling sand dunes. My favourite part was boarding a catamaran cruise from Walvis Bay to Pelican Point. If you're lucky, you'll spot all of the 'Marine Big 5' including whales, dolphins, seals, turtles and mola molas.
Pap en vleis is a classic South African dish and while every region has their own version it all boils down to the same thing - maize meal porridge and meat. The pap is the thick maize meal while the vleis can be any kind of meat you like! Simple, yet oh so satisfying.
Venison is eaten all over southern Africa but ask any Namibian and they’ll tell you the best venison comes from Namibia. It’s the meat of game animals like springbok, gemsbok and ostrich and it’s best eaten in a potjiekos (a hearty stew) or a traditional braaivleis, where the meat is barbecued over an open fire.
Nyama is grilled steak while irio is a classic Kenyan dish made with peas, potatoes and corn that are boiled and mashed together. Put the two together and you get the delicious dish known as nyama na irio. This is African comfort food at its best.
Africa shines all 365 days of the year. Whether you want to hit the stunning beaches, explore the desert, or spot wildlife on safari, there's an Africa holiday waiting for you.
The dry season is the best time to spot wildlife in Africa and it usually runs from April to October (depending on the country). If you want to see the Great Migration in Kenya, plan your trip between July and October.
The best beach conditions vary all over the continent. You can’t go wrong with the dry season in any country, while October to April offers some great snorkelling conditions in Kenya and South Africa.
If you want to explore the iconic Cape Winelands and Garden Route of South Africa, visit from March to June for gorgeous autumn colours, or November to April for the best sunny weather.
Safari game drives are a thrilling experience but it’s important to always follow the rules of the reserves, never ask your guide to leave the trails or chase wildlife, and never use flash photography around animals.
Water is extremely scarce in many African countries, so help save water by reusing towels and sheets, taking shorter showers, turning off taps tightly, and reporting any leaks.
It is both unethical and illegal to buy products made from the tusks, horns, furs and skin of endangered animals, so go for more sustainable souvenirs like local arts and crafts made by passionate artisans.
