Cross the bridge from Notre Dame to Ile Saint Louis. There's often music playing, locals sitting along the banks of the Seine in the spring and summer, and it's perfect for people watching and enjoying the beautiful view. There's also a little wine shop where the owner, Herve, loves to give advice and tastings on French wine.

The Joan of Arc museum in the magnificent buildings of the archbishop’s palace is housing the remains of the Room of Officiality where Joan’s condemnation was pronounced back in 1431. This is where a retrial would take place later in 1456 nullifying the first. The stage design, orchestrated by the agency Clémence Farrell, will take you through the faces and stories of “Joan” on your unforgettable Costsaver tour.

It doesn't get more iconic than the Moulin Rouge, the original Paris cabaret. You'll enjoy dinner, champagne and a show where you'll be amazed by 60 dancers and over 1000 costumes. Our guide then let us in on the Nouvelle Eve, one of the oldest revue theatres and a hidden gem in Paris. We met the Director and two cast members, before enjoying a four-course dinner and an incredible show - including the world-famous Can-Can.
You’ll no doubt treat yourself to many divine pastries in France, but the most iconic of them all is the croissant. This buttery, flaky, crescent-shaped delight is best eaten by tearing off fluffy chunks, slathering them with creamy butter or jam, and washing it all down with a hot cup of coffee.
Hailing from Nice as a poor man’s dish, ratatouille has gone on to delight millions around the world. Made from a rainbow of summer veggies like eggplant, tomatoes and squash, and infused with the fragrance of garlic, thyme and basil, there's nothing more comforting than a bubbling pot served piping hot.
Everyone raves about crème brûlée and it only takes one bite to understand why. The name means ‘burnt cream’ and it’s made from a delicious custard made from eggs, cream, sugar and vanilla, and topped with a scorched caramelized sugar that cracks in your mouth. So rich, so creamy… and so good!
Whether you're sailing the French Riviera in summer, exploring the golden countryside in autumn, or strolling the city streets in winter, France is a dream 365 days a year.
If you’re dreaming of a trip to Paris, get going in the shoulder months of April and May or September and October. You’ll get to explore the City of Love with thinner crowds and great weather.
Summer is the classic season to visit the French Riviera for a France beach holiday. May to September brings sunny weather and perfect days on the coast.
The French countryside is at its best in autumn, especially October and November, when the landscapes light up in a carpet of gold, red and green.
When you visit France and explore the beautiful landscapes, always make sure you take only pictures, leave only footprints, and kill nothing but time.
Some of the best places to see in France are the stunning French Alps. If you plan to do any walking, always take care of nature and stay on the allocated paths.
The best way to feast on the irresistible French cuisine is to eat at local restaurants and cafes, where you’ll discover mouthwatering regional delicacies and French traditions.
