      Welcome to Warsaw. After checking in this afternoon, relax and unwind or take a stroll through the city. This evening, meet your fellow travellers and Travel Director at the hotel.

      The spirit of Warsaw and the music of Chopin go hand in hand. This exclusive private recital of his music, performed for you by a celebrated Polish pianist in one of Warsaw’s historic buildings, is one of the unforgettable memories of this trip. Sparkling wine will be served during the intermission.

      2. Warsaw Sightseeing

      This morning we join a Local Specialist visiting the Old Town, which the Nazis destroyed to retaliate against the brave Warsaw Uprising, and the site of the Warsaw Ghetto, immortalised in the Roman Polanski film - The Pianist. Spend the rest of the day seeing the sights - perhaps visit the 14th-century Royal Castle or celebrate the talents of Chopin and enjoy a private recital of Chopin's works.

      4. Vilnius Sightseeing

      Join a Local Specialist on a tour past the city's iconic sights. See the Bishop's Palace and the University, the oldest university in the Baltics. Explore the 17th-century Baroque Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, built on the site of a temple to the pagan goddess of love. Walk to the Gates of Dawn, the Carmelite Church of St. Theresa and former Jewish Ghetto, and the Cathedral.

      Trakai Castle And Town

      We’ll explore the old Lithuanian capital of Trakai with its beautiful lakeside castle, which has been painstakingly restored to reveal the former grandeur and history of the Grand Duchy. You’ll also see old wooden cottages built by the Karaites, a sect originating in Baghdad, and have time to shop for crafts in Trakai.

      5. Vilnius – Šiauliai – Riga (2 Nights)

      Enjoy a free morning in Vilnius, departing the city after lunch. Our first stop is the extraordinary Hill of Crosses at Šiauliai, the site of thousands of crosses, each mysteriously claiming its place since the mid-19th century. We arrive in the ancient city of Riga later where we will spend the next two nights.

      6. Riga Sightseeing

      Explore Riga's winding medieval streets on a sightseeing and walking tour with a Local Specialist. Spend the rest of the day exploring the sights on your own, admiring the skyline from the comfort of a canal boat, or indulging in the herbal flavours of the city's favourite Black Balsam at a traditional city tavern.

      Bergi Open Air Museum Visit and Lunch

      One of the showpieces of Latvia's cultural heritage, the ethnographic open air museum is situated in a pine forest on the banks of the Jugla Lake. You’ll explore some of the 90 traditional buildings rebuilt here, including farmhouses, windmills and fishermen's houses, before a delicious traditional dinner.

      7. Riga – Tallinn (2 Nights)

      We follow the Gulf of Riga north into Estonia, and travel via Pärnu, a popular beach resort to the fairy tale capital of Tallinn. This evening we dine in our hotel.

      Leave behind the churches & museums for a breath of fresh air as we visit Estonia's largest national park, Lahema the first of its kind created in the USSR. It’s an interesting mix of 7,000-year-old bogs, 18th-century manor houses, dense forest and lakes. We’ll have afternoon tea & pastries in one the 18th-century Manors before discovering the treasures of this park.

      Kalamaja - Bohemian Quarter & Seaplane Harbour

      This quiet little neighbourhood is eye-catching for its colourful wooden buildings. Throughout most of Tallinn’s history, Kalamaja served as the town’s main fishing harbour that has since turned into it's Bohemian Quarter. It’s a must-see destination for anyone interested in architecture & history. Next visit 'Seaplane Harbour', where Charles Lindbergh landed after his first solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean.
