      Welcome to Nashville, "Music City, U.S.A." Get settled in at your hotel before meeting your Travel Director this afternoon.

      2. Nashville Sightseeing and Free Time

      This morning, tour Nashville, passing historic Riverfront Park, the Tennessee State Capitol and Centennial State Park, home to the world's only full-scale reproduction of the ancient Parthenon in Athens. Explore the vibrant heart of Nashville's entertainment industry at Music Row. Visit Studio B where the Everly Brothers and Dolly Parton recorded some of their albums. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to see memorabilia from Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks. Your afternoon is free. This evening, attend a live recording session at the Grand Ole Opry, home to America's longest-running live radio program.

      3. Nashville Free Time

      A full day at leisure in Nashville to do as you please. Chose from the variety that Nashville has to offer, perhaps visit the Johnny Cash museum, or journey to the Belle Meade Plantation, or maybe visit the Ryman Auditorium, home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Your Travel Director will be on hand to help plan your day.

      Belle Meade Plantation Tour

      This tour features the intimate stories of the various people that created Belle Meade Plantation and its beautiful grounds and architecturally significant buildings. Throughout the 45 minute guided tour of the 1853 Greek-Revival Mansion, a century of Belle Meade Plantation’s history is told through the eyes of the Harding and Jackson Family and the skilled laborers who collectively worked to make the Plantation America’s premier Thoroughbred Horse Farm. After the guided tour of the Mansion, guests will enjoy a complimentary wine tasting. Following the tasting, guests are encouraged to enjoy the self-guided portion of the tour featuring eight historic buildings on site including a massive 1800′s Carriage House and Stable.       Savannah City Transportainment Tour

      Tour at your own pace! Old Town Trolley Tours allows you to get off at any of the 16 convenient stops situated close to all popular attractions, shops and restaurants. When you're ready, just re-board and it's on with the tour. Trolleys depart from all stops at least every 20-minutes. Some sites included in the Old Town Trolley Savannah Tour are the Davenport House, Forsyth Park, Colonial Park Cemetery, World famous River Street, City Market, Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, Mercer House, Broughton Street, Andrew Low House, Telfair Museum, The Waving Girl and much, much more.

      Fort Pulaski and Lunch at the Famous Crab Shack

      This afternoon enjoy a scenic drive to Cockspur Island and be transported back in time to the American Civil War with a visit to the well preserved Fort Pulaski National Monument. Built in 1833 to protect the port of Savannah, as a facility to test rifled cannon combat, and a prisoner of war camp. Then board the coach once again and travel to Tybee Island's famous Crab Shack "where the elite eat in their bare feet"! Kick-back and enjoy your choice of regional lunch special along with a glass of wine or bottle of beer and dessert, then visit the local inhabitants of Gator Lagoon before transferring back to Savannah for your evening at leisure.       4. Nashville – Memphis (3 Nights)

      This morning, drive to Memphis, a city steeped in music history from B.B. King to Elvis. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of the city. See iconic sites like the massive Memphis Pyramid and the luxurious Peabody Hotel. Check out the mighty Mississippi before stopping in the Victoria Village neighbourhood to see fabulous houses from an elegant era. Drive past the historically significant Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. This evening is at leisure.

      5. Memphis Sightseeing and Free Time

      Start the day with an Iconic Breakfast of Southern fare served family-style at one of the oldest cafés in Memphis. Next, visit Sun Studios where Elvis was discovered, followed by a pilgrimage to Graceland. The mansion was purchased by the "King" back in 1957 for $100,000 when he was just 22 years old. Back in town, the remainder of the day is at leisure, your Travel Director will be on hand to help you plan.

      6. Memphis Free Time

      Enjoy Memphis at your leisure or as an option, travel to Tupelo, Mississippi, the birthplace of Elvis Presley.

      7. Memphis – Natchez

      Set out for Natchez on the Mississippi River and drive along a portion of the famous Natchez Trace Parkway through exceptional scenery. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks," settlers and future presidents, you'll learn why the Old Trace played an important role in American history. As you arrive, you will see some of Natchez's many beautiful antebellum homes that remained untouched during the plight of the South.

      In 1857, Irish immigrant and cotton merchant Frederick Stanton began construction on the home of his dreams: a palatial Greek Revival style residence in the heart of Natchez. Marble mantel pieces were imported from New York, ornate gasoliers were purchased from Philadelphia, and immense mirrors were ordered from France. The facade of Stanton's home was equally impressive with its Corinthian columns and delicate cast iron railings. Officially designated a National Historic Landmark in 1974, the building is now furnished much as Frederick originally intended and offers a glimpse into the domestic life of a wealthy Natchez family. Enjoy a 30 minute walking tour of the home, plus time to enjoy the picturesque grounds at your leisure. Approx. duration: 1.5 hours

      8. Natchez – New Orleans (3 Nights)

      Head south to New Orleans, travelling over the world's longest overwater bridge. On arrival in New Orleans, soak up the "Big Easy" as you are joined by a Local Specialist for a city tour.
